Synopsis

Taiat Dansa takes on a new challenge: to bring to life the five daughters of Bernarda Alba, staging their drama through choreography, live music, and documentary footage. In this work, they delve into a lyricism imbued with mystery and choreographic poetry, once again focusing on women. They invoke these five sisters, who guide us through universal themes such as oppression, social critique, and the struggle for freedom and identity.

Trajectory

Taiat Dansa is a company founded in Valencia in 2003 by choreographers Meritxell Barberá and Inma García. They have worked in festivals and theaters of reference at a national and international level, as well as in museum spaces and as guest choreographers in other companies. Both creators always focus on considering dance within the parameters of art and on reflecting on its history and evolution, as distinct from the other arts.
