In Ágape an irresistible love is celebrated between the pathetic and the miraculous. Vice and virtue are the guests of honor. Bodies, voices, and tense strings immerse themselves in symbolic games and rites of passage, delving into the pure and the impure, the glorious and the purging.
‘Ágape’ opens a conversation with the unconscious to expiate outdated legacies and inherit authentic pearls. Through shakes, deaths and dreams, new realities will be birthed”.
Núria Guiu has worked as a dancer with companies such as the Cullberg dance company, Gisèle Vienne, the Carte Blanche dance company, the Batsheva Dance Company. She was recently awarded the National Culture Award 2022, Catalonia’s most prestigious cultural distinction. Ingri Fiksdal works on projects on the intersection between the post-anthropocentric and the decolonial from a feminist perspective at the University of Oslo, and her works have been performed at numerous venues around the world.
