Transeúnte refers to being in transit, to not residing in a place. For this reason, we focus on the duality between the permanent and the transient in our instincts, embodied in the bodies of our generation, shaped by folklore and tradition, while integrating influences from our present context. Transeúnte takes us onDaniel Rodríguez a journey that honors the past, lives in the present, and seeks and embraces the future.
Galician creator, graduated from CSDMA, he is a member of Cía Daniel Abreu, Fran Sieira Cia de Danza, and co-creator of Colectivo Banquet. In 2022, he created A raíz de, a solo piece with over 40 performances, which won the SólODOS en Danza Ourense 2022 award, the Xove award, and was named Best Street Piece at the AR.CA International Festival 2023. He works as an artistic director and choreographer for shows and music videos for artists such as Mondra, Fillas de Cassandra, and Tanxugueiras.
