Where do words come from? What was the first dance? What do the abstract drawings in prehistoric caves mean? With Marc and Pauline, philosophical questions become inspiration to dance, draw, turn the world upside down and fill it with poetry.
In a play space framed by blackboards and a white floor, everything becomes possible: drawing on the walls, dancing all over the carpet and even making things move.
MA Compagnie was founded in 2018 in Bordeaux to create choreographic and educational projects aimed at early childhood. The company is directed by Marc Lacourt, who trained in dance with choreographers Toméo Vergès, Pierre-Johan Suc, Magali Pobel, Laurent Falgueiras and Ambra Senatore. His experience as a dancer runs parallel to his participation in numerous workshops with children and adolescents, in schools and art schools.
