JULIA ZAC

Hard to Explain / Difícil de explicar (Treball en procés) · 15 min

Solo performance project in which something seems to remain under control, while a subtle instability permeates the scene. The work inhabits this interval: a symbolic space where meaning ceases to organize experience.

Julia Zac is an artist born in Buenos Aires and based in Valencia. Her practice emerges from choreography and dance, engaging in dialogue with diverse performative languages, and unfolds across both theatrical and museum contexts. She has collaborated with international artists and projects in exhibition and performance settings.

LA IMBUICIÓN

Somos oro (Treball en procés)  · 15 min

The artists explore the need to transcend, the impact of being seen, and death as an anticipated possibility. Youth is examined and everything it entails—beauty, sexuality, vitality—is questioned in order to develop a study of femininity and its consequences on both a societal and bodily level.

The Youth Cultural Association and emerging dance company La Imbuición was founded in Seville in 2024 by Alejandra Ruiz de Alda and Raquel Lao, with the aim of generating stage proposals that engage in dialogue with society from a contemporary perspective. With a methodology rooted in the human and the everyday, the artists create sensitive, transformative, and multidisciplinary works.
