Her piece was inspired by an image depicting a stark, dry, devastated landscape, as well as a need to return to the source and to the body as the creative power in a quest to discover poetry in moving bodies. It is a journey inward, to the substance that resides inside the bones, and, as such, dance from the very core, returning to the body, not only as an individual, but also as a collective in search of a personal and shared encounter.
