Gush is Great offers an intense sensory experience: five performers advance in a slow, hypnotic procession, blending raw poetry and contemporary tensions. Objects appear and are then discarded, revealing the absurdity of the world. Manipulations, illusions and a soundtrack accompany a work in which slowness becomes an act of resistance.
Julie Botet, Max Gomard, Philomène Jander, Zoé Lakhnati, Simon Le Borgne and Ulysse Zangs are young choreographers from conservatories of music and dance and the up-and-coming scene. They come together for the first time in this piece. Their complicity fuels a collective creation that celebrates solidarity and the power of the group in the face of a declining world.
