Cía. Silvia Batet

Ercàs

Founded in 2019 and based between Valencia and Barcelona, this contemporary dance company has built a strong trajectory with four works: Réquiem, OBLIVION, sacrée, and ERCÁS, their most recent creation. Their work has been showcased at prestigious national and international festivals and has earned critical acclaim. Their choreographic language blends formal simplicity with structural complexity, establishing them as a key reference in the contemporary dance scene.

Building on the physical materials developed in the solo sacrée, ERCÁS expands the poetic and kaleidoscopic possibilities of three female bodies, turning them into a mutable canvas. It explores rituality, subtlety, and the plasticity of movement, challenging traditional perceptions of the body and its potential. Fluid movements and precise contractions form hypnotic patterns, reflecting the essence of metamorphosis and adaptability.

Cristina Martí

Riures

Riures is a show doomed to failure. Laughter attacks deform bodies, making the beautiful absurd and grotesque. They laugh at human ridiculousness and turn vulnerability into an empowering party.

Cristina Martí’s projects arise from the desire to find a place from which to observe the world from another perspective and reach where words cannot. To do so, she seeks very personal points of view to pose critical questions about the world.

Fornow

Creation inspired by the philosophy of Kintsugi, in which pieces come together to create a new and even stronger version of a broken structure. The piece talks about fragility and identity; it celebrates resilience, finds beauty in scars and emphasizes the power of unity. AISGE Awards at the Bucles & Carme ‘N’ Dansa 2024 Competition for best female performer and best male performer; Carme ‘n’ Dansa Award for best indoor choreography.

After dancing in companies such as Jasmin Vardimon, DV8, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Ana Rosa Manzanera launched her own project in 2018. Since then, she has received numerous awards and has received support from European creative centers and festivals. In 2024, she founded the duo Fornow with Alberto Serrano, who has appeared in pieces directed by Wayne Mc Gregor, Eva Martz, and Thomas Noone.
