They both dance their synchronicities and discordances. The piece is inspired by the expressions “having goosebumps” and “to tread carefully”, exploring the contrast between what is instinct and rational. These two bodies explore understanding and support as a basis for survival.

“I haven’t left the microscope in days; I’m looking at some tiny little organisms that have me spellbound. I found them on a piece of fungus stuck to a piece of wood. They are very fragile subjects; I really shouldn’t call them subjects because they can hardly hold on because they’re so fragile. They’re insistent, stubborn, they repeat their movements a lot. I’m going to tell you a little more about them…”
Elena Córdoba, dancer and choreographer, develops her work based on a detailed observation of the body. She defends sensoriality as a form of knowledge and the act of dancing as an expression of this sensitive knowledge. A large part of her work is devoted to dance, understood as a human manifestation. In 2008 she began Anatomía poética, a creative cycle based on the inside of the human body, which includes works and studies of different formats.

‘For many years now, in my artistic career there has been an intimate and very deep connection with the environment and nature. Through my practice, I seek to point out and translate the beauty that surrounds us, evident or not, through my body, through its wisdom. I have cultivated myself in dance in many ways, I feel that it is my natural language, the native language of my body. And at the same time it remains a mystery that invites me to reflect on our existence in the world’.
Independent performing artist specializing in wild dance. In recent years, she has delved from a poetic and philosophical point of view into various ways of relating to nature in its various manifestations, with a marked experimental rigor. Her body language is paradisiacal and alien to conventional contemporary trends.
