“Sudar Folklore” is a contemporary dance piece that relates part of our folklore with the act of dancing to electronic music to understand the codes they share and find out what makes these bodies transcend and rise through these dances. “Sudar folklore” is to sweat the garment and once removed sweat the skin and once removed sweat the bone and once removed sweat the new idea that one has of dance”.
We are a collective based in Madrid formed in 2016 by Alberto Alonso and Clara Pampyn. We name ourselves as a collective because we try to stay close to each other. We are interested in the choreography as a support to deposit energy and its transformation and in the physical and emotional states generated by the movement of the body. With the idea that this helps us to rethink our practice and our context. Resident company of the “Canal Choreographic Center” and La Casa Encendida.
