A solo that delves into waiting and the relationship of the body with present-past time. It is inspired by the Costa da Morte, Galicia, the coast with the most shipwrecks in Europe. An ode to women, those who always wait for the ocean to return them, at least, the remains of their relatives’ bones. While the salt cracks the hands that weave, net by net, what keeps them on land.
Dancer, creator and cultural manager. Marcia started dancing in urban culture with important references such as Karol Galindo and Diana Ballesteros. In 2015 she was awarded as a Revelation Dancer by Faro Urbano. She has won several awards in freestyle battles. In 2017 she decided to study and practice contemporary dance. In 2019 she was awarded a grant by the Red Acieloabierto in Training Itineraries. She claims in her works body-community, dentity, feminism and historical memory.
