I don’t know where the dubious reputation of weeds comes from… they exist without asking anyone for anything. It will come from those who step on the earth so that nothing grows, those who always step on those who are from “low bushes”. Look at the elderly body of this mother, once again trampled so that she does not dedicate herself to culture. Daughter, in a fire, the first thing that burns is the low bush… We will glean what no one wants: the sweat that puts out the fire, the same that will make this forest grow.
Talking about La Siamesa means looking at the career of Ángela Verdugo, who since 2006 has offered a group of pieces that seek a free language. This unconventional poetics demands that the scene not be a mere aesthetic exercise. In her pieces the word, the body, the audiovisual and the sound coexist in a harmonious solution devoid of artifice. The group now presents the tenth piece. The closing of a cycle, a trilogy that has involved six years of creation.
