In this battle, creativity and musicality are the keys to winning. The dance floor is open to dancers of all styles, be it contemporary, such as hip-hop, breaking, popping, electro, flamenco… To demonstrate their skills to the public and the judges; the participants in the battles must make the most of their creativity, their capacity for experimentation and improvisation, as well as freestyle skills to the rhythm of the DJ’s secret playlist.
Valencia City Cypher is an event that brings together the Valencian dance community, organized by groups that fight daily to make visible urban dance styles that are little known but very present in the streets of the city. The goal is to treat all forms of dance equally since in each of them we can find a part of ourselves.
